Here’s yet another girl thug that cowardly little bully Joe McElderry has groomed to threaten his critics (notice, for those who say Joe doesn’t know what his fans tweet online when he starts them off bullying someone, how he replied to her tweet of Sep 21 almost immediately):
RT@JoeShayne1DJLSx: joecomments makes me soooooo f*cking angry!!! I swear if i knew who it was i would punch the d*ckhead sqaure in the face! :@ [27 Sep 2011]
RT@JoeShayne1DJLSx: @joemcelderry91 do u remember me? i met u outside this morning almost 3 weeks ago? http://t.co/MvoFCC66 xxx 12:41 PM Sep 21st
RT@joemcelderry91: @JoeShayne1DJLSx of course! It was lovely to see you :) xx 12:44 PM Sep 21st
Joe McElderry persistently uses young girls to get his kicks, either bullying them online or grooming them to bully others and he is now, with chart success, becoming openly more and more bigheaded, arrogant and nasty in his bullying: http://t.co/RYDUaFwV
The one good thing about Joe's rapid descent into divadom is that his head is likely to get so big it will simply explode, thus removing this poisonous, lying clown from the music scene.
So finally Joe McElderry reveals himself in his true colours, as a nasty, arrogant, bigheaded, spiteful, bullying diva, sending this tweet to a young girl who sent him a sensitive question:
RT@joemcelderry91: @ deannaKbarrett no but I laugh at your ur tweet to me... Check the charts love :) x [2200 26 Sep 2011]
RT@deannaKbarrett : @joemcelderry91 - do you cry when you watch x factor? bringing back memories of when you had it all, then your dreams being crushed? [2130 26 Sep 2011]
To which the girl (who was subject to the online abuse that Joe would have known full well his tweet would spark off) could only reply:
RT@deannaKbarrett: @joemcelderry91 - I never said I didn't like you. I think you're a great singer! Its not like you're journey south x
Normally, Joe McElderry grooms young girls to threaten his critics* while using mildly sarcastic tweets to initiate online bullying by his fans and this is the first time ever that he has been openly spiteful and bigheaded to someone. But unfortunately this is not a case of Joe deciding to be open and honest at long last after a career built on lies**, because his victim was an inoffensive young girl who Joe would know could not answer him and his army of fans back.
No, this was Joe McElderry striking back, the little clown bullied at school for being gay and who ran the 13 mile GNR cowering behind THREE minders, now with chart success behind him, finally feels able to hit back at people – provided of course they are defenceless and he has his minders on hand to protect him at all times. So brave and honest Joe? No, just a pathetic excuse for a man who now thinks he is safe enough to poke back at people after a liefetime of licking their backsides, provided of course there is no danger whatsoever to him personally.
And while this is the first time Joe has been so publicly arrogant online, he has been reported before as being rude in person:
RT@joemcelderry91: "Tell your fans this is not true Joe as some are upset. Has somebody upset u.” nobody has upset me I'm fine :) xx [4 hours ago]
[It appears that the tweeter was referring to a report (which I have not been able to verify so far) that Joe McElderry 'threw a diva strop' and was rude to staff at the party after Barry Manilow's 'Audience with' TV show on 22 Jun. If so, it is significant that Joe did not deny that it was true]:
RT@CrazyLilNatalie: Lol at @joemcederry91 throwing a diva strop to one of my colleagues. Rudeness gets you no where....
RT@CrazyLilNatalie: @joemcelderry91 shame you were rude to our staff...
[10:50 PM 22 Jun 2011]
RT@CrazyLilNatalie: @ChristieLuvsJoe I've known him to be rude a couple of times :/ :( [1:46 AM Jun 23rd]
So @CConcern is taking up the case of Gary McFarlane, the Relate counsellor sacked for refusing to counsel gays. Who can blame him when Britain's gay "icon" Joe McElderry claims he was converted to being gay by reading a tweet sent from his own Twitter account, which said 'I am gay'. When gay organisations and magazines are targeting vulnerable young people by passing off a cynical barefaced lie like this as a model for their sexuality, they forfeit any right to be heard on the issue.
This is how proselytising gay Joe McElderry and his willing dupes in the gay media disseminate the lies Joe tells about sexuality, so that he can sell more of his albums by targeting and exploiting vulnerable youngsters: http://t.co/6xaeYQ38
Nietzsche on lying: this decribes so well how Joe McElderry came to be a liar in the first place - using deception to deflect bullies (by duping Carly Dilbert into being his girl friend when he was being accused of being gay at school) and to wind his mother round his finger so she would spoil him rotten*. Nietzsche also describes well why Joe's fans simply cannot admit that he is a liar:
"As a means for the preserving of the individual, the intellect unfolds its principle powers in dissimulation, which is the means by which weaker, less robust individuals preserve themselves-since they have been denied the chance to wage the battle for existence with horns or with the sharp teeth of beasts of prey, This art of dissimulation reaches its peak in man. Deception, flattering, lying, deluding, talking behind the back, putting up a false front, living in borrowed splendor, wearing a mask, hiding behind convention, playing a role for others and for oneself-in short, a continuous fluttering around the solitary flame of vanity-is so much the rule and the law among men that there is almost nothing which is less comprehensible than how an honest and pure drive for truth could have arisen among them. They are deeply immersed in illusions and in dream images; their eyes merely glide over the surface of things and see "forms." Their senses nowhere lead to truth; on the contrary, they are content to receive stimuli and, as it were, to engage in a groping game on the backs of things. Moreover, man permits himself to be deceived in his dreams every night of his life. His moral sentiment does not even make an attempt to prevent this, whereas there are supposed to be men who have stopped snoring through sheer will power."
For a clear example of an evil influence consider proselytising gay Joe McElderry (pictured making a Satanic hand gesture here: http://t.co/oFnjDtU1 ). Singer McElderry (winner of the UK’s X Factor TV show for 2009) has been deceitfully and cynically using his homosexuality to sell his albums ever since winning the X Factor in December 2009.
McElderry was nominated as a gay role model by the UK gay organisation Stonewall* and he told the UK Gay Times magazine it’s nice that he helps young men to come out** . McElderry, having failed as a pop singer, has now re-invented himself as a cross-over classical artist signed to Universal Music but however sweetly he may sing, his career is built on the most sour lies and deception and his message is the same.
McElderry’s initial fanbase in 2009 was young and female but there were rumours that he was gay, so at first he went out of his way to deny being gay, thus tricking his girl followers into thinking he was available to them. In a typically calculating deception, Joe went onto the front page of the UK’s biggest-selling daily, the Sun, on 15 December 2009 to say he was straight***. He told another newspaper he had no idea where the rumours he was gay came from.
All of this was a barefaced lie as we were to find out just 5 months later. For in July 2010, having built up a female fanbase, and with the PR drive for his new album about to be launched, Joe McElderry decided he wanted to recruit young men as potential customers and he shamelessly went onto the front page of the Sun again on 31 July 2010, this time to say he was gay!^ There was a problem though: as Joe had so recently DENIED being gay he was in danger of being portrayed (accurately) as an opportunistic liar using his sexuality to prey on boys.
The answer? For compulsive liar Joe it was simple: just tell more lies. Joe claimed he had never realised he was gay and never had a relationship with another man! He claimed he realised he was gay only three weeks earlier when someone “hacked” his Twitter account and sent out a tweet outing Joe as gay. The whole story was in reality a cynical lie: Joe had in fact conducted a gay affair in July 2009^^ and the “hacking” was almost certainly his own work, the whole sordid stunt being carefully planned with his PR team. Full story here: http://www.jumbotweet.com/tweet/Five-months-after-having-a-gay-affair-Joe-McElderry-told-the-Daily-7744
To this day, Joe McElderry continues to target young men in two ways. Firstly McElderry uses his sexuality in a deceitful way to dupe young interviewers into thinking he is innocent and available and a role model for young men. A good example is this interview in which Joe McElderry pretends not to know what a French kiss is yet revels in the way he causes vulnerable young men to come out as gay: http://www.jumbotweet.com/tweet/Joe-McElderry-s-latest-deception-of-his-fellow-gays-is-depressingly-7532
Secondly, Joe McElderry milks the Pink Pound for all it’s worth. Having pretended that he realised he was gay only when he read a tweet saying he was, Joe McElderry promotes the notion that being gay is a lifestyle choice you can turn on or off at your convenience and that your sexuality can be bought and sold on the front pages of the newspapers like a slab of meat or a bag of fruit. So Joe appears regularly in gay papers and venues, trading off his new-found sexuality and showing young men that they can do the same: http://jmb.tw/54cc
On 5 Oct 2010 @OK_Magazine quoted @joemcelderry91 as saying that coming out was "helpful" to him. Of course it was! They gave him a whole page of free PR in their prestigious mag to talk about his sexuality and plug his new album! Depending on where it is, it costs from £16-27,000 to actually buy a page of advertising in OK! and Joe got that free from them for talking about being gay! How long did the interview last? 30 minutes? That's over £30,000 an hour Joe's making from his sexuality. Just shows how #XFactorProstitution pays doesn't it:
Who is sleazier, Joe McElderry or Chloe Mafia? What is the difference between X Factor stars Chloe Mafia and Joe McElderry, who both made money from their sexuality via pages of free publicity from The Sun (here:
other than the facts that (1) Joe charges over 10 times more an hour than Chloe for his services as a singer and model and (2) she is honest about what she does whereas he poses as a role model for young people and marketed himself as gay with a clearly dishonest coming-out story, at the time best suited to maximise sales for his new album? So why does the Sun call Chloe a “hooker” but Joe a “hero”?
Great news for Joe McElderry fans: he's set to release a NEW SINGLE written by himself and based on his searingly honest interviews with the Sun* in December 2009 and the Mirror** in July 2010. Here's a sneak preview of what will surely be a smash hit:
'I'm a straight and honest guy'
"I'm a lumberjack and I'm not gay,
I kiss all night and I sing all day.
I hang around in gay bars
and kiss guys in pj's.
Oh... I'm a lumberjack and I'm not gay
I kiss all night and I sing all day.
I walk in woods with boyfriends
and cuddle on settees.
Oh... I'm a lumberjack and I'm not gay
I kiss all night and I sing all day.
I wear tight jeans and booties
just like my dear papa"
Five months after having a gay affair, Joe McElderry told the Daily Star 'I am not gay...I don’t know where that came from'* and in the Sunday Times, Joe said he was 'not bothered about the inevitable gay rumours' and for the record, 'I’m straight' and that 'Girls are on hold for the moment while I concentrate on my music'**. This is an account of how it was that Joe come to tell these barefaced lies so soon after he won the 2009 X Factor.
In July 2009, Joe McElderry (winner of the UK’s X Factor 2009) was visiting gay bars and having an affair with a man. On 7 July 2010, the operation to cover up this affair began. Joe’s affair with Sean Ryan began soon after X Factor 2009 started but when Sean asked Joe if they could have a long-term relationship, Joe dumped him by text. Joe did NOT say anything about being unsure of his sexuality: the ONLY reason he gave Sean was that he wanted to concentrate on winning the X Factor competition. Joe was acting entirely in character here, putting his career before love - and he continued to do so a few months later.
In December 2009 Joe won the X Factor and was looking forward to releasing his winner’s single for the Christmas Number 1 position. But there were rumours about his sexuality, made worse by RATM campaigners trying to keep Joe’s single off the top of the charts. Worried that his chances of selling the single would be affected if people continued to say that he was gay (a worry which would have been shared by his recording company’s bosses), Joe McElderry took a bold step.
On 15 December 2009, he told a bare-faced lie on the front page of the UK’s biggest selling paper, the Sun: Joe chose to expressly deny he was gay, despite the gay affair he had just a few months earlier. This PR stunt was doubly deceptive because the story opened with the claim that Joe was ‘opening his heart to The Sun about his love life’. Joe also told the Daily Star that “I am not gay.” and “I don’t know where that came from". Unfortunately for Joe, this cynical deception failed and his single was indeed beaten to the Number 1 spot by RATM’s 'Killing In The Name'. Joe kept up the lie throughout the subsequent X Factor tour however, as his fanbase was predominantly young and female and it suited him – and his record company bosses - to make them think he was available.
Now we move forward to July 2010 and the next step in Joe’s cover-up of his sexuality. Joe needed more fans and a wider fanbase for his album, soon to be released. He was also running a risk in continuing to deny that he was gay as the secret would come out sooner or later. But if he did come out and admit he had been having a gay affair a year before, Joe would be exposed as a liar because of the Sun denial (a denial by Joe repeated in other papers). So how could Joe exploit a new gay male fanbase, escape the risk of being condemned for being gay AND pretend to be an honest person – always a problem for compulsive liars like Joe, who cannot admit that they are liars.
The answer was breathtakingly simple, or so Joe thought: on 7 July 2010 a tweet was sent from Joe’s Twitter account. It said “I want you all to know, before it comes out, I’m gay. I’ve been living a lie for so many years but now I feel the times right”. The reaction to this from Joe’s fans was overwhelmingly positive so Joe and his PR team knew he was safe to come out.
But to admit the tweet was his would still leave him open to charges of lying in December, so Joe simply claimed that his account had been hacked. Then came the masterstroke of deception: just 3 weeks later, Joe again appeared on the front page of the Sun, this time to say he was gay and that he had only realised he was gay because of the hacked tweet! He tried to airbrush Sean Ryan out of his story and claimed to have... <<<<<< N.B from Jumbotweet: auto-truncated at 4K characters on index page - Click here or on the "view" link to see entire jumbotweet! http://www.jumbotweet.com/ltweets/view/7744

So self-confessed binge-drinker* Joe McElderry is at it again - RT@clemmiemoodie: why why why... do i let myself be persuaded by @samdowler and @joemcelderry91 to drink irresponsibly? That goes for you, too, @georgestark. 16 Aug.
Another witness at the event Clemmie Moodie (writer for the Daily Mirror 3am column) was attending (Joe McElderry's album launch party) confirmed Joe was drunk:
RT@zoeannerobinson: watching a drunk joe mcelderry. Hilarious. I love mahiki [6 hours ago] 7:20 AM Aug 16th from web
*When asked if he has a side of him that does not fit with his role model image Joe said: ‘I get drunk sometimes... I tend to have a few blowouts and then stay off it for a while. Then I’ll have a couple more but the blowouts end up turning quite messy’ [Heat Magazine 11-17 June 2011 p74
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident". (attr. Schopenhauer)
Joe McElderry’s latest deception of his fellow gays is depressingly cynical: in a ‘private interview’ with @jamietabberer from @GayTimesMag at Joe’s album launch*, Joe puts on a ‘sweet boy’ image by pretending he doesn’t know what a French kiss is:
‘Lastly, we took it upon ourselves to inform the man of the hour of fellow X Factor champ Shayne Ward's naughty Joe-related confession of last year: in his December 2010 GT cover interview Shayne admitted: "I would French kiss Joe he's a lovely lad." Joe's response? "[Looking genuinely perplexed] What's a French kiss?!" HOW adorable?’
No, not adorable, just utterly deceitful and for proof we need look no further than Gay Times’ own pages, for in their December 2010 issue on page 48, Darren Scott interviews Joe, tells him Shayne Ward said Joe is ‘lovely’ then reports Joe’s reaction to exactly the same quote from Shayne:
‘...I pluck up the courage to pass on something else Shayne said. That he would French Kiss Joe. “He would what? Really? Oh well... Tell him that I said thank you.” I laugh and note that this is quite a polite reaction. “What would you like me to say?” [Joe] asks cheekily before shouting in mock horror “OH MY...GAWD!” and then bursting out laughing. Ooh the scamp’s played me at my own game. I joke that I wouldn’t mind if Shayne Ward said that to me. Joe laughs again. “I’ll send ‘im your way then!”’
Is that really the reaction of someone who doesn’t know what ‘french kiss’ means? And even if you’re not convinced, do you really think Joe would not have found out what Shayne Ward would like to do him in the 7 months since that interview?
No, this is clearly another example of how Joe McElderry shamelessly manipulates and deceives his gay fans, in an attempt to grab their money for his music. The false image of the ‘sweet and adorable’ (and of course unattached) boy is one Joe will no doubt have worked closely with his PR team to put across. And it works well - @jamietabberer is obviously taken in by it and comes up with the goods, putting Joe across as a desirable gay icon:
What's also massively refreshing, for us, is to hear Joe talk openly and comfortably about his sexuality ‘It's nice, because I meet lots of people and they come up to us and go 'I came out after reading your story in the press, you're an inspiration'. I just think 'wow'. To know that it's helped people is special for me. I'm honored.’
Here we have Joe at his most callous, preying on young gay fans, trying to convert them and like all fraudsters, hoping that they will forget the past – just as in July 2010 Joe came out, pretending to be honest about doing so, while hoping that fans would forget that 7 months before, he swore blind he was straight. The whole story of that scam is told here: http://t.co/xPZ6KRS
So no Joe, your potential victims may have short memories but luckily @joecomments is here to remind them just what a conman you are.
I had a dream: atop a cliff at the world’s end stood a lighthouse, a shining beacon, and there came to it a dispossessed man, a man with no voice, and at its foot he saw a keyboard and a computer attached to the beacon and these were his voice and the beacon broadcast his words to the darkest corners of the world and its shining light was the TRUTH.
At last the story can be told: Joe McElderry’s two best male friends are gay! Joe has known @billyt1991 and @TomCharlton91 since his school days (they are from Harton Technology College, which Joe attended before joining Newcastle College at 16). Tom has already come out (more or less) now Billy has too:
RT@PrincessL44: RT @billyt1991 Me and @ashlowes :) ... Love this girl :) xxx http://t.co/TyAuQc1 aww lovely pic you make a nice couple ;) Xx [12 Aug 2011]
RT@billyt1991: "@PrincessL44: RT @billyt1991 Me and @ashlowes :) ... Love this girl :) xxx http://t.co/rSE8C8G shame I'm gay eh ? Haha xx [13 Aug]
I now repeat the question which no other journalistic site has done but which I have been asking for a year now: is there anybody gullible to believe, as Joe claims, that Joe McElderry never even THOUGHT he was gay until 7 July 2010, when a tweet from his account outed him as gay, despite his EXPRESS denial of being gay in the Sun and Star on 15 December 2009?
It is now clear beyond doubt that Joe McElderry has been callously and calculatedly duping his young fans ever since winning the X Factor and has been using his sexuality in a cynical way for the purpose of increasing his fanbase. The whole cynical, deceitful and manipulative campaign by Joe McElderry is told here: http://t.co/D4xRs3a
There are some factual inaccuracies in the Daily Mail article* on Joe McElderry printed on 12 Aug 2011, caused by Joe misleading the reporter – here are the real facts about these:
(1) Joe ‘had a romantic liaison with a boy at college’: Joe has never admitted he had a gay affair but he did tell the barefaced lie that the person involved was a fellow college student. Remember he assured the Sun and Star on 15 Dec 2009 that he was straight – this was a strategy Joe sat down and planned with his PR people, to counter rumours that he was gay, which he perceived as potentially damaging to his attempt to build on his predominantly young female fanbase. So for Joe to admit in July 2010 that he had a gay affair in July 2009 would expose him as a liar, which like many compulsive liars he could not accept. The way round this – again, carefully planned by Joe with his PR people – was to state in July 2010 that his affair had been nothing more than ‘a peck of a kiss while at college’ which he thought no more about. Of course this was all lies: it was a sustained gay fling with a fan who never attended his college. Full story here: http://t.co/D4xRs3a
(2) Joe ‘doesn't seem to mind that someone hacked into his Twitter account to break the news’: not surprising as it this was almost certainly part of the campaign of deception Joe worked out, using his PR people to work it into the pages of the press: even Joe himself admits that most people think he hacked his own tweet.
(3) Syco’s ‘strategy had been to reinvent Joe as a disco hero’: unfortunately, this is Joe here reinventing his own life, as he has been doing ever since pretending to be straight in December 2009. Joe has consistently said up until now that it was he who took the new direction of Ambitions, after Syco planned originally to give him more ballad-like music.
(4) Universal ‘signed Joe up straight away’ after seeing him win Popstar to Operastar: in fact, Joe had been in talks with Universal company @DeccaRecords BEFORE the final and it looks increasingly like the deal was arranged long before the series began, making it a cynical fix. Full story here (and watch this space for an update due shortly): http://t.co/x5viRNx
(5) Joe ‘dropped the management company, Modest, they had set in place for him so he could start afresh with a new, hands-on manager’: two independent witnesses have today reported that Joe’s radio tour last week was being organised for him by the same managers, from Modest Management.
(6) Joe says ‘I'm an honest person, but for a long time I really didn't know how I felt’: both barefaced lies of course. Joe knew perfectly well how he felt when he was visiting gay bars and having a gay affair in July 2009. As for being ‘honest’: well, look at the lies above and here’s a list of 13 of his biggest lies from 2010: http://jmb.tw/3t8s.

Hypocrite Joe McElderry preaches on London riots - while he lords it in his £190,000 townhouse and incites violence by his own fans. The @DeccaRecords Popstar to Operastar scandal gets worse every day: Guest artist on 10 June 2011 was guitarist Milos Karadaglic who duetted with singer Sharleen Spiteri*. Karadaglic is a Decca artist and he has just recorded a duet with Joe McElderry for Joe's new album**.
So far then we have three judges and two guest artists on PSTOS signed with Decca and it looks now like Cheryl Cole engineered Joe's deal with Decca some time before the final. The whole show was essentially a product placement vehicle for Decca and it looks increasingly like the voting (and the money the voters spent phoning in to vote) was an irrelevance.
It’s surprising that Joe McElderry gets airplay in Indonesia given what happened to Nazril Irham, as Joe is someone who makes money out of promoting his homosexuality to young fans.
Joe – who was named as a “gay icon” for young people by the leading UK gay organisation Stonewall - uses the press to persuade people that being gay is just a lifestyle choice and one you can adopt for financial reasons:
The reason for all this lying by Joe was simple: it was to sell his music. First he pretended to be straight in December 2009, so he could build up a young female fanbase.
Then in July 2010 he decided to say he was gay, just before the publicity drive for his new album started, which meant he had a whole new range of gay fans to appeal to and more importantly, a whole new range of gay DJ’s and TV/radio presenters to use to promote his album.
Joe McElderry also, by the way, promotes excessive consumption of alcohol to his underage fans: here he is on holiday in the USA - promoting drinking (forbidden to U-21's in Colorado) to his young fans: http://yfrog.com/h24ecrj
Police set up dogging patrols in woods near Gateshead. If these are the woods where Joe McElderry and Sean Ryan went walking and had their first public kiss (as reported by the Sun) let's hope they were not put off their stride by rude doggers.
Five months after his gay affair, brave and honest Joe McElderry said 'I am not gay..I don’t know where that came from' in the Daily Star*. And in the Sunday Times, Joe said he was 'not bothered about the inevitable gay rumours' and for the record, 'I’m straight' and that 'Girls are on hold for the moment while I concentrate on my music'**.
This is how Joe McElderry promotes and normalises violence - he shows his true colours as a cowardly bully by following this thug and so rewarding her for her violent threats:

When challenged in a video interview by @3am about his fans' threats and asked if he would tell them to lay off, Joe said ‘I appreciate all the support I get from them’ and ‘I’m not going to tell them to lay off’ and when the interviewer said ‘I’ve never felt so threatened in my life’ Joe laughed and replied 'Well you can't mess with the McElderry fans' (interview 24/5/10 at http://www.3am.co.uk/we-talk-to-joe-mcelderry-about-twitter-justin-bieber-and-cheryl-cole---video/22513/)
and in reply to @DanWootton who raised the issue ‘nice’ Joe said:

Is this how showbiz works? On 8 March 2011 Joe McElderry appeared at a gig in the Hoxton Bar and Grill singing with No Expectations, an amateur band fronted by two TV execs including ITV’s Director of TV Peter Fincham.
The gig was supposedly in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital but just 2 months later, it's announced that Joe will be taking part in the new series of Popstar to Operastar - produced by ITV. This maybe a coincidence but Joe somehow always seems to make more out of his "charity" work in terms of PR value than he puts in.
After all, how much better off is he going to be because of appearing on the show? And it's amazing that there just happen to be cameras and press present every time he makes a charity visit to sick children (see below).
And if there's any doubt as to Joe's priorities in music, the source who briefed Dean Piper (article Sunday Mirror 8/5/11 p13) makes all clear: Joe's pop career has flopped but he is concentrating on using the money he got out of it to buy property in South Shields and London so that he "has something to show" for it. No musical or artistic legacy then, just more money for Joe as he kisses goodbye to all his popfans and heads off into the operatic sunset.
How Joe McElderry exploits sick children:
Monday 6th December 2010:
Joe McElderry is really plumbing the depths of #presstitution with his Daily Star interview today, using a sick child to promote his latest single:
'And as Joe cuddled nine-month-old Mela Dohah, from Sutton, Surrey, it’s clear he understands how precious young life is.
Which is why he’s determined to make the most of his X Factor opportunity.
He reveals: “Every performance matters and I’m more determined than ever now.
“I’m going to try my hardest to get this next single to number one and just carry on doing as much good work as I can."'
Yes, that's right Joe: when "normal" people see a really ill child, they automatically connect her with their own financial success. How low can you sink: you'll be selling your own sexuality to the papers next..oh wait, you've already done that haven't you?
So the truth comes out: the Sun reports that Joe McElderry's deal with @DeccaRecords was engineered by @cherylcole: http://dlvr.it/bDh6f
So now the question is: how long before the Popstar to Operastar final did @cherylcole first approach @DeccaRecords - http://jmb.tw/41dx because it is looking more and more like Popstar to Operastar should have been called the @DeccaRecords signs Joe McElderry show, BEFORE voters started spending their money on it.
Two years ago, in July 2009, Joe McElderry (winner of the UK’s X Factor 2009) was visiting gay bars and having an affair with a man. One year ago, on 7 July 2010, the operation to cover up this affair began.
He tried to airbrush Sean Ryan out of his story and claimed to have had only a single kiss from a boy, while at college.
Joe’s fanbase immediately grew, with predominantly young gays now being enticed on board, seeing Joe as a role model for the ‘bravery’ he showed in coming out. Operation Cover-up had been a success as far as Joe and his PR team were concerned and the road was open for Joe to continue deceiving his fans about his history while reaping the financial benefit... <<<<<< N.B from Jumbotweet: auto-truncated at 4K characters on index page - Click here or on the "view" link to see entire jumbotweet! http://www.jumbotweet.com/ltweets/view/6649
Why didn't ITV just call Popstar to Operastar the @DeccaRecords show and when did Decca first start planning winner Joe McElderry's album? Three judges (Rolando Villazon, Kath Jenkins, Alfie Boe) guest singer Andrea Bocelli and winner Joe McElderry are ALL signed to @DeccaRecords. So can ITV and Decca answer the following:
(1) As was announced on Tyne Tees TV on 11 July 2011, Joe will start recording his new album with Decca the week beginning 18 July 2011 with a release date at the start of August. How could they plan and produce an album in just two weeks?
(2) According to Joe*, he was talking to Decca at the latest on 5 July, 5 days BEFORE the final of PSTOS so when did Decca first approach or enter into talks with Joe or his agents?
(3) Joe told the Daily Star** before the final that his new album was going to contain NOT opera but pop: so why did PSTOS continue the fiction that the show was about getting a former popstar into an opera role?
(4) How did Joe McElderry get invited onto the show in the first place: he was never a popstar, having just been dropped by his own record label following the failure of his album: http://t.co/dzA0oSG
(5) Was there any input by Decca records, or anyone acting for them, into PSTOS and in particular into the choice of songs for Joe McElderry (mostly easy Italian arias, compared to the harder songs given other competitors) or the choice of judges or in financial terms?
(6) The New York Times reported*** on 12/5/06 that Decca’s parent company The Universal Music Group agreed to pay $12 million to settle accusations that executives paid radio programmers to play songs, following an investigation by the New York attorney general. Can Decca assure people that they have never done anything similar?
Joe McElderry started lying as soon as he won the X Factor UK in 2009. These are 13 of the biggest lies he told in 2010:
(1) “I’m straight” (front page of the UK's biggest selling daily newspaper The Sun, 15/12/2009): First off, the grand daddy of Joe’s lies, the one that started it all off. Then on page 4 Joe said “What you see is what you get. I’m straight”. Having told this porky, he has had to continue lying ever since to cover it up. Note that this was NOT a case where a teenager had to lie about being gay in order to save himself from homophobic bullying, heartless parents or anything like that. Joe HIMSELF said that he was under no pressure to say he was straight (LadMag interview, Oct 2010, p8): he just decided off his own bat to appear on the front page of the UK’s biggest-selling paper to deny that he was gay. Why lie? Because he was building up a fanbase of young females at the time and he no doubt thought the idea of being straight and available for those girls would increase his chances of success. Note also that this was NOT a case of Joe being unsure of his sexuality: as you will see from Lies 3-7 below, he was well aware where his interests lay.
(2) “Guys my twitter has been hacked” (Joe’s tweet on 7/7/2010): This claim followed a tweet sent out on Joe’s account earlier that day, which said “I want you all to know, before it comes out, I’m gay. It’s been living a lie for so many years but now I feel the times right”. Even Joe admits that “...everyone probably thinks I wrote it myself” (X Magazine, 29/9/10, p44). The reason is that (a) there has never been any evidence that Joe investigated this “hacking”, (b) it was very useful for Joe, as he could see the reaction to it was very favourable, which meant he could come out later with no risk to himself (so much for “brave” Joe) and (c) the content of the tweet was entirely true as you can see from Lies 3-7!
(3) “I’ve just discovered I’m gay” (Front page of the Sun, again, 31/7/2010). Having strongly denied he was gay just a few months before, Joe was obviously faced with the problem that people would now think he was lying, so his coming-out story was carefully crafted to make it seem he had just found out he was gay, from reading the “hacked” tweet. That people could be taken in by this for one second is frankly amazing and just goes to show how skilful a liar Joe is. In fact, Joe had had a romance with another man (Sean Ryan) a year before the “hacked” tweet. The only way to cover up this embarrassing fact was to simply airbrush it from his story and he told the Sun (p5) four more lies to complete the “innocent Joe” fabrication:
(4) Joe said that he had only a “peck of a kiss” with a boy before: well as we discovered from Sean’s own account in the Sun on 2/8/2010, Joe first had a long and prolonged kiss with Sean, then invited him home for more kissing and cuddling followed by at least more kissing on a later day in woods near Gateshead.
(5) Joe said this was while he was at college: no, he met Sean at the X Factor auditions, the action then moved to Joe’s home and local woods.
(6) Joe said that this happened just before X Factor: no it was during X Factor.
(7) Joe said his kiss with Sean “didn’t trigger anything” in him: a particularly heartless lie this and obviously false. If you kiss someone and it doesn’t trigger anything in you, you don’t invite them round to your house to repeat the experience do you? When Sean later asked if Joe wanted to make a serious relationship out of this, Joe replied by text that the only reason he didn’t want to do so was because he wanted to concentrate on the X Factor (NOTE: no mention being made of any “confusion” about his sexuality here). So Joe binned Sean by text, a feature of Joe’s style as he... <<<<<< N.B from Jumbotweet: auto-truncated at 4K characters on index page - Click here or on the "view" link to see entire jumbotweet! http://www.jumbotweet.com/ltweets/view/6507
