#TodayInHistory: December 15, 1660 – Andres Malong, the maestro de campo of Binalatongan, now San Carlos City, Pangasinan led the people in Pangasinan to take up arms against the Spaniards. His revolt targeted only the colonial government officials. The revolt was quelled a year later with the help of Filipino conscripts from the provinces of Pampanga, Zambales, and even from Pangasinan itself.
