Veolia are in Ireland and they already have their tentacles in Irish Water.
We are ALREADY witnessing a de facto privatization scheme of our national water infrastructure by which leaching private corporations are milking hundreds of millions of euro from the Irish tax payers. This of coarse is facilitated by our corrupt, self-serving government.
It will amount to billions in a few short years, before even one pipe has been fixed.
By 2015 if all monies spent had been invested in the water systems instead of the corporate farce Irish Water we would be over half way there to the 6 billion need to have a state of the art Water system in the Republic of Ireland.
Months ago I researched three companies that I expected to try to take over our national water Infrastructure. One of them was Veolia
Was shocked when I saw their name on an Irish Water Van TODAY!
Veolia Water has been renamed many times, they are accused of perpetrating state sponsored war crimes on the west bank. They have gotten in the door in many, many countries around the world through the IMF and make exorbitant profits on the back of people's hardship trying to pay for water.
I can smell the stench of corruption from the government in Dublin from here in Thurles.
The amount of rain that falls in this country, Should I really have to worry about how many baths my 15 month old daughter takes per week? So that Veolia, GMC, Serria, Murphy, Denis O'Brien, Coffee and IBM, to name but a small few, can get paid?
