PUBLIC ADVISORY | Davao City Water District announces another scheduled water interruption in two sets:

SET A
WHEN: Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (7 hours)

WHERE: Some areas in Bangkal specifically Royal Valley Subd., San Juan Subd., Sto. Niño Bulusan and parts of Central Park Subd. (a portion of Mt. Cordillera St. particularly from the corner of Mt. Matutum St. to the corner of Mt. Sierra Madre St., the streets of Mt. Batulao, Mt. Mariveles, Mt. Banahaw, Mt. Pinatubo, Mt. Arayat, Mt. Mayon, Mt. Kanlaon, Mt. Makiling, Mt. Matutum and Mt. Sierra Madre, Taal Riverside and Taal Road).

WHY: Tapping of the newly installed 100mm diameter Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipeline to the existing 150mm diameter PVC pipeline for the mainline improvement at Queens Avenue in Royal Valley Subd. in Bangkal.

SET B
WHEN: From 9:00 PM of Saturday, August 2, 2014 until 3:00 AM of Sunday, August 3, 2014 (6 hours)

WHERE: Some areas in Catalunan Pequeño specifically SPDA Subd., Samantha Homes, Wellspring Highlands, Wellspring Village Expansion, Sitio Walog, Residencia del Rio, parts of Wellspring Village Phase 1 (from SPDA Subd. to Gypsum St. corner Quartz St. and Genesis St. corner Quartz St.) and immediate environs.

WHY: Installation of gate valves for the bypass line for the proposed Pressure Regulating Valve at SPDA Subd. in Catalunan Pequeño.

1.) Benefits of service improvement projects: (A) Accommodation of new service connections and (B) Help reduce non-revenue water.

2) Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise. Hence, the would-be affected consuming public is hereby advised to store water in clean containers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
