Hence, Islam is fundamentally anti-secular. Allah informs us in the Qur'an: I have only created the Jinn and Humans that they worship Me. Al-Dhariyyat: 56 Regardless of which of these developments we view as being pivotal in the development of secularism, we must return to one salient fact: Secularism constitutes open rebellion against Allah."
