I remember the arguments: It will be counterproductive, very dangerous to the society when teaching the history of civil war and other internal violent conflicts. Teachers' qualification must include Honesty, Psychology, Patroitism... which we hardly have, if at all. This is part of the reasons which lead to its suspension, and nothing has changed to now make it safer to re-introduce. Yes, there are distorted publications young minds are exposed to instead, but they would still be there even if official versions are (mis)taught in Schools. Qualified teachers should come first. Then the formidable challenge of agreeing to the truthful versions.

…Good, but we all know the problem here. There must neither be vagueness nor mystification. We understand he expressions ‘in Christ, new creation, the old, the new’ can’t mean literally. It MUST mean a marked visible change in the individual’s lifestyle (behaviour, conduct, mannerisms, temperament, attitudes, actions, inactions…) This in turn MUST mean based on, not personal formulated principles, but following a set of accessible codified guidance of DOs & DONTs which the individual subscribes to. On which the person can always justify ALL their daily routine acts. To which they can point and say ‘this is the authority, the guidance, instruction which I followed that made me act as I did.’ And in concrete language terms which anyone who wishes to benefit & live likewise can read, understand and act by at every moment of their lives. Whether it is followed correctly and/or to what extent is another matter.
The guidance which was existing which Christ met and which he re-taught THROUGHOUT his whole ministry was inadequate and was meant for his people the Jews only (as he himself said in Mathew 10:5&6, 15:24 & v26). Explains why he never travelled out to preach and explains why he said he ‘had a lot more to give but ye cannot bear it now’ until the whole Guidance for the whole mankind comes.
Meanwhile, the BIG problem for the ‘new creation in Christ’ is that the same Corinthians authority (and therefore by extension Christianity as a whole) has, in flagrant disregard to Christ’s teachings & warnings, nullified & voided all the DOs & DONTs which Christ left. As inadequate & limited scope as it were. Except Tithes.
