This study demonstrates that women in prostitution suffer from significantly higher levels of depersonalization than nurses. Because it is politicized and not neutral whatsoever, when the writer discover that prostitutes are more likely to suffer because of violence, poor personal boundaries (like, that IS prostitution) and managers of legal brothels not giving a fuck (go figure!) they decide that the reasons for these issues is stigma anyway. No real reason given, it just **is**. This is a study of indoor, non migrant prostitutes in legal Holland. Oh, did I mention it also says that young women - most of the industry - are more likely to suffer than older ones, and they reckon its because we ain't 'professional' enough.
