Just to give a little back round info on all the teams Group A has OMG a very good Chinese team(love there top laner he plays the best Renekton I have ever seen), SKT1(most recent winners of OGN or Korea LCS) my favorite Korean team they have THE best mid laner in the world Faker, You know TSM, Lemondogs is a pretty good team from Europe that have been close in every game but lost a lot, and gaming gear is an over matched team from Lithuania. And Group B has Samsung Ozone(formerly MVP Ozone they won Korea LCS had the epic opening scene if you remember) they have really underperformed and its coming as a huge shock to everyone there mid laner has a very small champ pool and he plays in Group B with some of the strongest mid players in the world like Xpeke(Fnatic) Alex Ich(Gambit) and Mancloud(Vulcun), Then we have fnatic and Gambit who have been playing lights out both have defeated Ozone(BTW Europe doesn't get a bye into the second round like C9 because they got last at the all star event), next is vulcun they have been in every single game but lost a few to both Ozone and Gambit but they did beat Fnatic in a stomp giving Fnatic its only loss, Then we have Group b's weak link Mineski they are over mactched as well and don't pose a threat all really. And finally the 4 teams with byes are Cloud 9 im sure you know them, Najin Black Sword(a team that a lot of people didnt want to go to worlds because of how bad they had performed but they had so many Championship points from past championships they got in and got a bye so if that tells you anything its that they were once very good but have fallen off so it will be interesting to see how well they perform in the next round), Then we have Royal Club another Chinese team a week before worlds I watch the entire China qualifier tourney OMG and Royal Club had some amazing games in it and Royal Club is a legit contender, and finally to wrap up my essay we have Gama Bears the only team I know nothing about... all i know is they are from south east asia and beat out any notable Taiwanese teams including Taipei assassin.
