You turn your head to see Tom holding you,
TOM: "Don't"
YOU: "But Nathan he's still in there Tom please I have to do something"
TOM: "No"
Max comes running round the corner,
MAX: “No you can’t get through that door”
YOU: “Tom let me go”
Tears are streaming down your face as you plead with Tom to let you go,
TOM: “No you can’t go back in there”
MAX: “Is Nathan still in there”
YOU: “Yes”
MAX: “We have to do something Tom”
TOM: “Like what”
YOU: “The window”
MAX: “Good idea”
Max lifts a brick from the wall that Nathan was having built and throws it through the window before breaking the glass around the ends and climbing through. Beth and Phoebe run into the back garden to where Tom is still holding you back,
BETH: “The fire brigade is on its way”
YOU: “Tom please just let me go”
TOM: “No just wait”
BETH: “Wheres Max?”
TOM: “He went in to see if he can get Nathan out”
BETH: “What MAX!”
Beth starts to run as Phoebe grabs her back,
PHOEBE: “Just wait”
You and Beth try to struggle from the grasps; you manage to get your arms free as you try to push Tom’s arms away but Tom just grabs them back as you start to give up hope and fall down to the ground causing Tom to fall down with you and break down into tears and Tom holds you. Just then Max appears at the window again,
MAX: “Tom theres a beam on Nathan’s legs I need a hand to get it off quick this fire is spreading quick!”
TOM: “Stay here”
Tom runs over to the window and climbs in to help Max,
PHOEBE: “Tom just wait”
TOM: “Theres no time to wait”
Tom climbs through the window after Max as Jay, Elisha, Siva and Jess come running into the garden,
JAY: “What the hell happened?”
PHOEBE: “We were having drinks in the pub up the road with Max and Beth when someone ran in and said there was a house on fire, so we ran out to see this house in flames and ran down to help”
JAY: “Wheres Max and Tom?”
BETH: “Inside theres a beam or something trapping Nathan”
SIVA: “We should help them”
You not aware of what anyone is saying everything has gone into a blur but you do know that Tom isn’t holding you back any more and Nathan is in there and needs help, you make a run for the door again but as you do a new pair of arms grab hold of you,
JAY: “Oh no you don’t”
YOU: “What is it with you lot grabbing me? Jay let me go please I have to help Nathan”
JAY: “No Max and Tom are in there he’ll be ok”
YOU: “Jay I can’t lose him”
JAY: “You won’t
YOU: “Everything was falling into place why did this have to happen?”
JAY: “It just did”
TOM: “Someone give us a hand”
You look up to the window to see Tom standing there calling Jay and Siva over,
TOM: “Right if we pass Nathan out to you can yous grab him till we climb out?”
SIVA: “Sure”
Jay and Siva run over to the window as Tom and Max lift Nathan out and Jay and Siva Taking over. Jay and Siva get hold of Nathan and carry him over to the grass as Tom and Max climb out of the window, you run over to Nathan’s side and take hold of his hand and hold it up to your face as you kiss him and tears fall from your eyes onto Nathan’s hand. His face and clothes are black from the smoke and he’s covered in ash and blood coming out of his head covering his hair, you look down his body to see his clothes covered in blood. Max and Tom join you closely followed by all the girls, Max and Tom are both black from the smoke and coughing to clear their lungs,
