- Update on 1968JP: J wants to be completely open with everyone. He's been diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) in his stomach. It is, in his words, "as bad as it can get". He is in the fight for his life. That's the tough news. The GOOD NEWS is that he has a variety of options at his disposal for this fight--some close to home in OK, some on the East Coast. Places with cutting edge technology, along with a very promising drug treatment that just came out in Aug. He will know more early this coming week once he sits down with his Dr just what his treatment program will be. THE REALLY GOOD NEWS: He's home tonight with his family, resting comfortably, and being loved on by his girls, no doubt!! His spirits are sky high and he's determined to fight this tooth and nail. If anyone can beat this, it is him. So, what can we do as his friends scattered far and wide?? We can be the BEST cheerleaders he can have!! He's said many times that he's feeling all the love from us and it means the world to him. If you want to send me any messages, DM me and I'll give you my email and I'll send them his way. Keep sending him love on Twitter, etc. I know he's reading when he can, even if he doesn't respond. And don't forget the power of prayer & throwing good intentions into the universe. - My musing on #MotleyCrueDay from my Facebook page: Today is Motley Crue day in Hollywood. They're being honored at the Sunset Strip Music Festival this weekend. I see everyone posting their favorite memories of being a fan. Being a fan for 28 yrs, I have so many. From the first time I heard a Crue song, to the friends I grew up with that we spent hours listening to Crue, to requesting Home Sweet Home over and over and over again for Mtv's video countdown, to the first show I saw and the last show I saw in July, to the very first Motley Crue forum when the Internet started & all the wonderful fans I've met online since then. So many of you who have become close dear friends to me offline, especially my New England Crue family and all our crazy times we've had over the years. And of course, meeting Nikki Sixx this past May--the icing on the fan cake. Say what you will about the music I listen to, but it's the soundtrack to not only my youth, but my life, and it's brought AMAZING people into my life that I love with all my heart. For this, I say "THANK YOU, MOTLEY CRUE!!!!"

Cherry Cheesecake Brownie Bars
Brownie Recipe:
1 cup unsalted butter
6 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
Topping:
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
2 (8 ounce) packages low-fat cream cheese or 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Heat oven to 350°.
2. Line a 13 x 9" baking pan with foil, letting ends extend a bit over sides. Lightly coat the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Topping: Beat together all topping ingredients in medium mixing bowl until blended and smooth. Set aside.
4. Brownie: In a large microwavable mixing bowl, melt butter and chocolate using med power -- about 2 minutes---check every 45 seconds and stir. (Can also do in a saucepan over low heat.) Heat until chocolate is melted and smooth -- stir to make a smooth mixture.
5. With wooden spoon, stir in sugar, vanilla and salt into melted chocolate mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring briskly after each egg, until well-blended. Stir in flour.
6. Spoon brownie mixture into prepared baking pan.
7. Scatter heaping Tbsp of cheese cake topping mixture on top of brownie mixture. Then scatter Tbsps of cherry pie filling over top. Run tip of a knife through topping and pie filling to create a marbleized look.
8. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until brownie edges begin to pull away from sides and edges of cream cheese are slightly brown. THE CENTER WILL STILL "JIGGLE" WHEN SHAKEN EVEN WHEN THEY ARE DONE!
9. Cool in pan on wire rack. When cooled, chill for at least 4 hours before cutting.
10. After chilling, simply lift out by using the foil that lines the pan and cut into squares.

- Dear @UPS, your customer service is horrible. It makes NO SENSE to have a shipper in CA start a claim for package that YOUR DRIVER delivered to the wrong house in MA! Your representatives should give the customer the courtesy of calling the local delivery driver FIRST before making the customer contact the shipper to start a claim. It's completely backwards, especially when said customer has canvassed all her neighbors and no one has the package! Fed Ex all the way....they make it a POINT to contact the driver FIRST THING when there is a issue like this instead of dismissing it with the "You'll have to the shipper file a claim" routine.

They did Cruefest 1 (2008), Cruefest 2( 2009), then took a break and did Ozzfest last summer. Sixx & Lee have been tweeting about tour meetings and big plans for summer and MC has signed on to do some one off shows in May & July, so the fans pretty much feel that a big CF3 tour is coming this summer as well. Last 2 Cruefests they announced "one off shows" a few months before releasing their summer tour plans, so stands to figure this year will be same. Sixx & Lee denied the Poison rumors right when they came out and then Brett Michaels admitted it was false and just a "dream" of his. However, Sixx is a huge NY Dolls fan and I could see him scheming to have them on a bill.

- @M_CrueCollector OMG it was too funny. This hospital is huge--world renowned. We decided to not go through the ER as it would be too obvious so we went through the Labor & Delivery enterance and tried to get down to ER. Security got us and escorted us out. Then we decided since I was an asthmatic I'd fake having an asthma attack to go through ER. Until I started filling out the paperwork and realizing that since I was 16 they'd need to call my parents for consent to treat me, so we left. Then we decided that another friend who was 18 would fake twisting her ankle because not only would that get us in the ER but down to the Xray b/c we assumed he'd be having an Xray/CAT scan to check for a concussion. We got into an exam room and then started trying to sneak out (cue secret agent music) and got busted again (hmm maybe it was our Crue shirts or our inability to be stealth) and got escorted this time by NH PD.

- Shit I can't do this stuff in 140 characters..so bear with me. I'm just kinda in middle & seeing it happen on both ends. We all do things together as a group and then we also do things separately. You and I go out and we don't always invite her and I know it's never an intentional diss. Plans just happen, life just happens and she doesn't get invited. Or we come over and hang with you and Ed and they don't get invited, or Ed comes out to a garage night but Jeff doesnt. Or times when you and Tracy go to lunch or the mall and I'm not invited. All those things aren't intentional. I know the both of you aren't choosing to not invite me...plans just happened. You and I made plans for TFZ...we knew for a week and neither one of us called to include Tracy. They called us yesterday, impromptu so we went over. I guess I see as if I (or we) do it too (not inviting all to everything and having alone time one on one with you or alone time as couples with you and Ed (that sounds dirty...oops), then I can't be upset if I hear that you guys went out and did something without me or if Ed & Jeff ever went out to do something and Eric didn't get an invite. I know that it's not personal because I know all 4 of you..I know you wouldn't set out to hurt us like that, just like I/we wouldn't set out to hurt T&J by doing something with you or you/Ed. Unless I missing a big piece of the puzzle (which I could because I'm outside looking in), I just see last night as them doing something that you/I (or us as couples) have done at times to them..but again, never with personal diss or intent.

- @foodiewithfam Dilute liq dish soap w/ lil water--2 inches. Put in paper/plastic cup. Take coffee filter and put over top of cup & tape all around the cup opening so nothing can get under into the cup. Take toothpick and poke small holes in filter. FF go in, can't get out.

1 pound thinly cut pork cutlets
1 Tbsp Wildtree Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil
2 Tbsp Wildtree Zesty Lemon Grapeseed Oil... See More
2 Tbsp Wildtree Opa! Greek Seasoning Blend
1/4 tsp Wildtree California Garlic Pepper Blend
1 tsp Wildtree Lemon Pepper Blend
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 cup white wine
Combine all but pork & 1 Tbsp Zesty Lemon Grapeseed Oil in a ziplock bag. Zip & shake well. Add pork to bag, rezip & shake. Marinate 20 minutes. In a large skillet, heat remaining grapeseed oil over medium heat. Add cutlets and saute 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to oven safe dish and finish off in 350 degree oven, abuot 10-15 minutes or when pork is no longer pink inside. - Looking to re-enter the workplace!
