Kinda sad that the news I'm being exposed to keeps playing Elvis songs to their brief obits on Lisa Marie Presley.
Some respect, please? She had her own music career that wasn't just corporate nepotism. Two charting pop albums that went gold and a third that was much more retrospective. She was a joy going out and playing with other artists, doing cameos, duets, and cross-genre plays. Use HER MUSIC as bumpers to her obits!
It's hugely disrespectful that a successful and independent WOMAN is still only looked at by boomer newsroom managers as the daughter of a celebrity father.
