Dunno if anyone has this, but I have an irrational fear for the sound of alarm clocks. This is the sound that precedes your sudden jerk from one reality (dream state) to this shared reality. This means that this sound signals that, possibly, everything that you've done, that you've worked for, up to this point has all been for nought and everything is about to disappear and you would return to an alternate reality.
