@BamburiCement, on Friday the 1st April at around 1700hrs, I was hit by one of your vehicles. My headlight is all cracked now. The lady pictured was attempting to exit off the north airport road on the eastern bypass heading towards the direction of EASA. At the junction, she underestimated the size of her vehicle without being aware of a ditch ahead. She immediately reversed her car to avoid the ditch and in the process breaks my headlight. Even with the impact, she never stopped driving. She decides to drive off. I follow suit and she pulls over at the pictured gate. I get out of my car and ask her why she drove off without even accessing the damage of both vehicle's. She simply responds ' I knew yangu haiwezi umia kwa sababu ya hii chuma' she says as she points at the metal bar at the back of the pick up.
Some eye witnesses who were behind me also stop on seeing the confrontation and say ' enyewe madam umerudi nyuma'. She shouts out loud and points at the gentleman making the remarks saying.. ' wewe ni driver??'.
Bottom line, as an esteemed company, you should not have such people behind a company vehicle. They are tarnishing your name and are wrecless drivers who make mistakes on the roads and attempt to run away.. it is really disappointing. The lady said I could go ahead and do whatever it is I wanted. Informing Kenyans was the least I could do.
