The mission of the blacksilentmajority is quite simple. We want to empower the black community. A good part of our mission is to shatter the victim’s mentality among so many African Americans that is the byproduct of a racist climate.
We need to realize that we have more potential than we think. It is estimated that in 2016, our group will have a purchasing power of about $1.6 trillion dollars. With this kind of income, you’re no victim and don’t let anyone tell you you’re a victim.
In truth, African Americans are potential giants, but we have a midget self-image due in part to horrible leadership. The way we see it, despite racism and other “isms,” the plight of our group can improve.
The key to our progress is not how we interact with others; it’s how we interact with each other. Long story short. Let us not be our own worst enemy. Let us unite.
We want to appeal to African Americans, and other people of goodwill, no matter what their color, etc. If you believe in education, self-help, and decent values, let’s talk. But even if you disagree with something we’ve posted, that’s fine. But let’s keep it civil.
We want to challenge our group to attack old problems with a fresh approach. It’s like what Moms Mabley once said, “If you keep doing what you always did, you’ll keep getting what you always got.” Everything we post has the same intent; to unite black people, and to help us to excel.
