@switterist the management and admin of our water, inland rivers, lakes, streams, creeks, ponds and subsurface waters is a fragmented system of local, state and federal powers. some water authority utility boards are private. some water resources are owed by public and non-public hands. non-bottle drinking water is more regulated than bottle, water 4 science/medical applications regulated the most.

federal and state authorities have been lax in protecting the public from certain chemicals, compounds, drugs, solvents etc that endanger the public, plants and animals such as those used in fracking.
