#WikiPinoy2016 Nominee: Ivan Bilugan, a Filipino freelance graphic designer who promotes Philippine history through his project, “Philippine History in Color”. He is a 2008 AB Communication graduate from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas' College of Liberal Arts and Communication.

It has become his advocacy to color historical photos. “They say history should be viewed in a new light. For millennials, color is one approach to entice them to be curious and learn more about history.” His objective is not to replace black and white photos, but to promote Philippine history. He added, “The main reason behind colorization is not to distort an image or alter the photos or any historical facts. Rather, it’s to further promote the values and lessons of our past; re-introduce and share it to the new generation.” Learn more at http://bit.ly/2hxP3al
