When you are a successful businessperson and negotiator, you MUST be flexible and aware of the situation in which you are to do business at ALL times. you can NOT go in with a mindset constrained by political ideologies or preconceptions. You have to have the best intelligence data available. Billions and even trillions dollars are YOUR responsibilities as are thousands of jobs and lives in the balance so you can't just jump right in.THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES. You have to take advantage of everything and everyone you can and ideally it is a win-win deal. The art of the Bluff & the art of the BRIBE (Campaign donations,charitable donations,etc.) are part of doing business,REAL WORLD.
Businessmen don't think in terms of nickles and dimes like we do. THEY DON'T SIT ON THEIR ASSES AND THEORIZE LIKE ACADEMIC DREAMERS & SCHEMERS. THEY DEAL WITH THE REALITIES OF THE HERE & NOW. THEY DO THINGS, THEY GET THINGS DONE. ANYBODY CAN SIT ON THEIR ASS AND RUN THEIR MOUTH ABOUT ABSTRACT THEORIES AND "WHAT-IF." A BUSINESSMAN ACTS ON FACTS NOT THEORIES AND NOT ON FEEL-GOOD IMPRACTICALITIES.
GIVE HIM OR HER THE SITUATION IN REAL LIFE AND IT WILL BE DEALT WITH.
