A message from our Executive Director Sandy Singers:

We have had many enquiries regarding the food drive being conducted by the City of Kingston on the City Transit buses and whether or not this food is coming to us. It is not. Although we are well known in Kingston as “The Food Bank” The Salvation Army are being identified in this way for this city wide drive. It is important to remember that although the Salvation Army does provide a smaller version of our service, they will not assist people with food until they have come to us first. We hope that this clears up any misconceptions.
