TODAY'S FORECAST -

WAY TOO HOT! 68°F 6:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. If you don't like the heat then stay indoors today as we will see the hottest day of the year as a dry hot air mass sits over us! Expect highs to reach the upper 90s or low 100s today with overnight lows in the upper 60s. Please provide your pets and livestock with adequate shade and water and keep them safe at home.

We then just like before, begin to cool off slightly for the weekend as Low pressure way to our north increases the onshore flow, bringing cooler days into the low 80s. Everything again as another heat wave looks possible early next week and may not break all weak bringing us the longest heat wave we've seen all summer. More on that soon.

The long range forecast shows little change. We will remain dry with periods of hot weather as the current weather pattern stays more or less in place. The forecast models have flipped on any chance of rain in the next 30 days. Just hot and dry weather at times. Nothing too exciting yet. I will keep looking.
