WARMING UP! 53°F 10:15 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Another abnormally dry winter day is here. Enjoy the clear skies with no rain. Expect today's daytime highs in the low 60s with overnight lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.
This uncharacteristic and alarming dry weather pattern is expected to continue through this week with the possibility of breezy north winds for us by midweek. This break in the High pressure dome that has kept us dry may bring us a slight chance of showers this weekend, but it doesn't look very promising at this time.
The long range forecast is teasing us with the promise of rain and snow late February into March, but time is running out as Meteorological winter ends March 1st as global weather patterns begin their shift to spring. While March has proven to be a wet month in the past, there's certainly no expectation that the return to a wet winter weather pattern will bring us significant rainfall and is very unlikely we will reach average precipitation for the season during this time. We will have to wait and see.
