TODAY'S FORECAST -

WARMER BUT SIERRA T'STORMS ARE BACK! 54°F 6:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Showers and t'storms are back in the forecast as a broad trough of Low pressure drops over the region. This is a much weaker weather pattern than what we had last weekend so I expect showers and t'storms will develop mainly along the western slope of the Sierra Nevada and east. We will continue to warm up today which will be nice. Today's temperatures may reach the mid 70s with overnight lows in the mid 50s.

Sierra t'storm action will peak on Thursday as an inside slider drops south along the Sierra Crest triggering showers and Sierra t'storms mostly to our east, but we may see a shower or two in the foothills. A real warming trend arrives late in the week as we reach for the upper 70s this weekend and even warmer into the mid 80s by early next week. Summer is coming!

The long range forecast wants to really warm us up as we flip the trough and trade it in for our first high amplitude ridge of High pressure. This is more a typical late spring weather pattern not all the rain we just had. Have wonderful Wednesday. Enjoy the weather!
