The gentleman who approved the astonishingly anserine attack over Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941, was the reviled Jap General Hideki Tojo. Five years later, as he awaited trial in Tokyo for war crimes, Tojo asked to have his teeth repaired. The job was given to Navy dentist E.J.
