The Hebrew term Chumash (Hebrew: חומש‎, is a Torah in printed form (i.e. Book )as opposed to a Torah scroll. The word comes from the Hebrew word for five, ḥamesh (חמש). A more formal term is Ḥamishah Ḥumshei Torah.
