Special Assembly – KG 1 A
It was an exciting day for KG 1 A, as all the children got ready to participate in their Special Assembly on 17th January 2017. ‘Water Animals - Our Friends Under the Sea’, was the theme of the day. The benefit of having a class Special Assembly is that it develops a feeling of bonding amongst the children of the class, and is also a great motivator for team work. All the children were given different roles to play like the dolphin, shark, crab, whale, crocodile, seahorse, octopus, jellyfish and starfish! They all looked adorable in special water-animal cut-outs handcrafted by parents! The excitement of children was evident when they confidently spoke about the uniqueness of different water animals on the stage. The children also recited a rhyme with actions and did a dance on water animals. This was followed by a fashion show on the same theme. In the process, children imbibed the timeless value of kindness towards water or on land animals. It was a wonderful feeling to see our little stars perform their roles with such self-confidence.
