Is Islam A Peaceful Religion?

So-called, "good Muslims" have been too quiet for too long. They need to show Americans that terrorist don’t represent all Muslims. It reminds you of police officers.

We all know there are more good police officers than bad, but when bad officers act like rogues, it tarnishes the image of all police officers. More good police officers need to speak up. Unfortunately, Islam is a religion where intolerance is encouraged.

What’s more, Islamic countries do not have a free press where different views are presented and encouraged. One of the very first acts of Islamic terrorism in the United States happened when Robert F. Kennedy was killed by Sirhan Sirhan. Sirhan objected to Kennedy's pro-Israel stance.

Another earlier instance of Islamic terrorism in this country happened when Malcolm X was killed by members of the Nation of Islam who resented comments Malcolm X made about Elijah Muhammad.

So, as far back as the 1960s, Islam has a long history of intolerance and violence.
