Smiling Prince Harry, and the rest of the mostly unemployed royal clan of England. The British have wisely contrived to get their monarchy out of the way of government, but there remains an inexplicable, voyeuristic interest in the anachronistic Windsors, many of whom live off the public tit and contribute nothing save otiose celebrity to the general good. America threw out regal rule in the late 1700s (though it sadly provides thrones of a sort for many of its elected officers), and it would seem to be way past time for the prints, television and the Net to relegate the ding-dong royal remnants to the macabre history of their kind.
