Salute to Bharat Ratna CV Raman on his birth anniversary-
A fundamental work on scattering of light and impact on its wavelength was awarded Noble Prize for Physics in 1930 and the recipient was the first Asian to have achieved the honors in Sciences category - salute to Bharat Ratna CV Raman on his birth anniversary - for his contributions in the development of science. This contribution is known as 'Raman Effect' after his name. It's very pertinent to ask ourselves as to what happened to us after that...... why we lost our way on fundamental works in sciences.
