SUNNY AND DRY! 57°F 1:30 PM Hey hey Giovanni here. Welcome to a new year! It's 2020 and the weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoors so get out and enjoy it. Expect today's daytime highs in the mid 50s with overnight lows in the upper 30s.

The rest of the first week looks to turn a bit wet late Friday into Saturday with sunshine returning on Sunday. The coming system won't bring us much moisture or snow to the Sierra. I'll be surprised if we receive more than 0.25" of rain in town. High pressure is then expected to strengthen on Sunday bringing us another bout of dry weather as the storm track stays well north of our area through much of next week.

The long range forecast isn't very wet. The possibility for a pattern late next week is there, but confidence is low at this time. More on this soon
