TODAY'S FORECAST

SHOWERS WITH T'STORMS POSSIBLE! 47°F 6:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. The shower threat will continue today with the added bonus of instability showers and t'storms this afternoon as an upper level low slowly moves inland with snow levels around 7000ft. Today's temperature will reach the low 50s and cool overnight lows in the mid 40s.

Wednesday looks mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. A weak storm expected to arrive on Thursday, with a much stronger storm possible Friday afternoon into Saturday as a late season Atmospheric event sets up to bring us the possibility for significant rain, 2-4" of rain in town, and Sierra snow above 6000ft. Expect travel delays and chain restrictions over the Summit this weekend. This looks like it might be last big storm of the season as dryer weather is expected by Monday afternoon and into the rest of the week as the storm track retreats north.

The long range forecast still wants to dry out and warm us up as we head into the second week of April. This is typical of April as global weather patterns shift as we approach the spring barrier when storms stay primarily to our north and we begin to warm up. Have a totally awesome Tuesday!
