SHOWERS POSSIBLE! 44°F 7:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. A weak Low will drift south along the coast triggering showers locally and a few inches of snow above 4500ft. This storm is looking very dry for us as the Low remains too far offshore to really impact our weather. Even SoCal looks to receive only a glancing blow as the upper Low remains primarily offshore as it drops south. Expect today's daytime highs in the upper 40s with overnight lows in the mid 30s.

The coming week looks to continue dry as High pressure keeps the storm track well to our north. A weak storm looks possible late in the week, but I'm not feeling too confident at this time in this system breaking down the ridge enough to bring us significant rainfall. New Year's Eve looks beautiful and dry, with chilly overnight temps. Next weekend looks to continue dry with the chance of a few clouds developing on Sunday.

The long range forecast still looks dry through the first full week of January, but there's plenty of time for that to change, but at this time, early January is trending dry in the forecast models. Expect changes.
