TODAY'S FORECAST -

SHOWERS AND SIERRA SNOW! 43°F 6:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Rain arrived overnight as a cold front pushed through our region bringing us rain and snow showers mostly above 5500ft. Expect winter driving conditions into the Sierra today, but accumulations should remain light with travel impacts above 7000ft. Today's temperatures may reach the low 50s with overnight lows in the low 40s. Showers appear to remain with us through much of the week as this through will be super slow to shift east.

This is the most resilient spring wet weather pattern I've ever seen. This type of weather pattern should have shifted east a week ago, not remain offshore like a mid winter Low. I'm still hopeful for warmer and dry weather late in the week with high temperatures rebounding back into the mid 60s by the weekend.

The long range forecast looks mostly dry early next week with a chance of lingering showers next week for the Sierra. Have a totally amazing Tuesday!
