La junta directiva de Independent Venezuelan American Citizens (IVAC), se suma a los esfuerzos de la Congresista Ileana Ros-Lehtinen de hacer un llamado urgente a los países responsables de la región y del mundo a apoyar las acciones que le restan al pueblo Democrático de Venezuela ante los embates del régimen dictatorial de Hugo Chávez Frías.
Hugo Chávez esta en este momento desesperado por aprobar leyes que lo atornillarían aun mas a ser un gobernante al mejor estilo Castro-Fidelista y a gobernar y legislar sin la asamblea que la mayoría de los Venezolanos eligieron el 26 de Septiembre del 2010.
En estos momentos se atropella a los ciudadanos por encima de los mandamientos de la constitución, se roban tierras que tienen sus dueños legítimos pasando una vez por encima de nuestra Constitución.
Que esperan los Países civilizados del mundo, ver que corra la sangre del pueblo Venezolano para defender sus derechos, por que no salir y evitar un derramamiento de sangre y ayudar a los Venezolanos a defender sus derechos constitucionales.
Tuvimos un gran ejemplo del pueblo Hondureño, que cuando depusieron al gobierno dictatorial de Manuel Zelaya, organizaciones como la OEA salieron a la defensa de ese gobierno que se dirigía hacia la misma dictadura que ya tiene hoy Venezuela, manifiéstense ahora que estamos a tiempo y no después para defender la dictadura de Hugo Chávez.
Hacemos un llamado de “AUXILIO” a que el mundo nos ayude y se manifieste antes de que suceda lo peor.

Ros-Lehtinen Condemns Chavez Power Grab,
Says Responsible Nations Must Support People of Venezuela
( WASHINGTON ) – U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, commented today on Hugo Chavez’s push to pass several laws to increase his power in the final days of the current Venezuelan National Assembly session, including today’s passage of a law granting Chavez the authority to rule by decree for the next 18 months. Statement by Ros-Lehtinen:
“Hugo Chavez wants to rule by decree so that he doesn’t have to answer to the Venezuelan people for his failed, dictatorial policies. In his eyes, democracy and the free will of the Venezuelan people are mortal threats to his obsession with power.
“Chavez is pulling out all the stops now before he is faced with opposition in the new Assembly.
“Responsible nations in the region and around the world must finally hold Chavez accountable for his dictatorial actions. Those who remain silent only help to prop him up, and leave the Venezuelan people abandoned as their hopes for a democratic future slip away.”
