Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan are in a tight race in New Hampshire, and NBC News has called the race too close to call. More than $100 million has been spent on behalf of the two candidates and both women have struggled with their party's presidential nominees, The New York Times reports. During a debate with Hassan, she said she would "absolutely" see Donald Trump as a role model for young people but later walked back from those remarks. In a CNN interview, Hassan struggled to say whether Hillary Clinton was "honest and trustworthy." Democrats are looking to pick up five to seven seats to take back the majority in the Senate.
