@RailMinIndia @sureshpprabhu Dear Sir, since greviences n suggstions r heard n acted upn after u hv taken up the charge hence would like to suggest something on a system prevailing which hs its own pros n cons. RAC introduced to let d waitlisted passengrs enjoy d benefit of having half berth which is quite relaxable to them compared to no berth. No doubt people hv been benefited out of it. At the same time there is a dark side of this which being a traveller i have seen quite a few times.
1) yesterday only while travelling I saw two people(having shared RAC) fighting with the one having the upper berth. At night it was all good, but in the morning the man came down and asked for his seat which these two refused to give as they both wanted to have window seat, also the man wanted one of the window seat as he should be having by rule. The man even asked them politely to go up or go one side but they were both stubborn and it led to quarrel. They got into dirty fight abusing n using their hands as a result other passengers suffered and had to intervene to stop.
2) many passengers with lower berth take their waitlisted friends saying he has got RAC and don't allow the passenger on above berth to take his seat which again leads to quarrel.
I am not saying to end this but atleast take a survey on whether passengers are getting benefited or they suffer too. I am sure, the passengers with side upper will come saying they have suffered many times.
