RAIN ON THE WAY! 52°F 6:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. One last day of dry weather before everything begins to change. High clouds will be on the increase with rain developing late tonight. Expect today's daytime highs in the low 60s with overnight lows in the upper 30s.

An upper Low is expected to make its way into NorCal this weekend bringing with it rain and Sierra snow above 4500ft if not lower. Saturday looks to be the wettest day as we may see .50" of rain in NC/GV with the Sierra receiving 4-8" of snow above 5000ft. This won't be a very wet storm, but any rain and snow will be welcome at this point. This system will be slow in moving inland allowing for multiple weak impulses that will help to keep our weather unsettled through Tuesday night before clearing arrives on Wednesday.

Long range forecast models are looking at more rain for next weekend. It sure is looking like some of the changes we were hoping for are finally materializing. There likely won't be a March miracle as this incoming weather pattern doesn't look that impressive locally and may primarily impact SoCal. Time is running out on winter. Some rain and Sierra snow is better than none. Let's hope March surprises us all.
