RAIN ON THE WAY! 50°F 6:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. The first in a series of spring storms arrives today on the first day of April and that ain't no joke. This weak storm will mostly bring us showers with snow levels above 8000ft. This won't a very wet storm as we may receive only 0.10 - 0.25" of rain. Today's temperatures will reach the low 60s with cool overnight lows in the mid 40s.
Tuesday will continue the shower threat, but I bet we also see the sun at times as we receive maybe another 0.25" of rain as another weak, but colder disturbance with snow levels down to 6000ft swings through. Wednesday looks partly cloudy and mostly dry. More rain is expected by Thursday into Friday with a much stronger storm possible next Saturday as a wet spring pattern sets up to bring us the possibility for significant rain and Sierra snow above 6000ft. This looks like it might be last big storm of the season as dryer weather is expected after Sunday and into newt week.
The long range forecast wants to dry us out and warm us up as we head into the second week of April. Of course expect changes as spring is known to bring us huge temperature swings with bright sunny days one day and and stormy wet and wild weather the next. Have a marvelous Monday!
