OFF AND ON SHOWERS! 40°F 10:00 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Showers to continue today as a weak system continues to impact our region with showers and snow above 4000ft. Clearing is expected tonight. Expect today's daytime highs in the mid 40s with overnight lows in the low 30s.

Sunday looks to start out mostly dry, with a chance of showers arriving later in the day. Our weather will really become interesting as a colder set of storms arrive on Tuesday evening with a much colder storm expected late Wednesday. Snow levels look to drop to 2500ft or so after Tuesday. The wettest storm we've seen all January is expected to arrive Wednesday night, bringing lots of rain and heavy snow to the Sierra. Snow levels are expected to remain above 2500ft, but any real accumulation looks above 3000ft. More details on this soon.

The long range forecast looks to remain unsettled and wet through the rest of the month.
