| Media invitation to SMSL-KOMAS-NGOs Joint PC in KL |

We would like to invite the members the press to a press conference organized by the Save Malaysia Stop #Lynas (SMSL) group together with Pusat Komunikasi Masyarakat (KOMAS).

Today SMSL will announce to the press their strong letter of appeal to the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to urge him to stop Lynas’ operations in Malaysia. SMSL is a local civil society movement campaigning against the plant in Kuantan Pahang.

The “letter-statement” to the PM is being endorsed by different NGOs in Malaysia. (The No. of NGOs will be announced in the press conference)
