Welcome freshmen!
For the next few years, Mapúa Library will be one of your major partners in your effort to excel in your academic pursuits. It offers a rich array of information resources in various formats (books, journals, theses, electronic resources, videos, etc.) which will help you succeed in your college life.
A vast collection of electronic resources (eBooks and eJournals) can be accessed through the library’s eBooks and eJournals page. Off-Campus access to these resources is also available via EZproxy.
CDs, DVDs, printed books and journals are still available for loan. Visit the Policies and Regulations page for specific loan policies.
Searching for book titles or topics is now easy because of our integrated search platform, EBSCO Discovery Service, which will give you access to the Library’s entire collections via a single search box.
Also, don’t forget to check these two new services offered by the Library: (1) the Self Service Station located at the Circulation Section, and (2) Turnitin, a plagiarism detection tool.
For freshmen, the library can be overwhelming, but assistance is available via our Ask-A-Librarian Service -- in person, through phone, or via email and chat/instant messaging. Librarians are committed to assisting you, or helping you find the information that you need.
