Many are confusing the meaning of the word “war” in the context of our current crisis.
The modern meaning of war, from wiki:
“War is a state of armed conflict between societies.”
According to the Ancient History Encyclopedia:
“The word ‘war’ comes to English by the old High German language word ‘Werran’ (to confuse or to cause confusion)”
Which of the above is the correct meaning, given our present state of affairs?
