MOSTLY SUNNY AND WARMER! 48°F 6:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Warming up today as High pressure builds along the coast. We may see a few high clouds as the storm track is shunted well to our north. Expect today's daytime highs in the upper 50s with overnight lows in the low to mid 40s.

We will remain and dry and warmer as High pressure strengthens, but a slight change in this dry weather pattern looks possible late Saturday as a strong cold front drops along the Cascades and Northern Sierra bringing us breezy conditions and a slight chance of showers and a brief early Sunday morning wintry mix above 2500ft. I still don't have a lot of confidence in this forecast and it probably will dry out further perhaps only bringing us a cold air mass. More on that soon. Next week looks to start out dry and cooler, but another warmer and dry pattern shift looks likely by midweek.

The long range forecast looks to remain dry and warmer well into February. Winter has taken a break as we head continue with the sometimes annual January thaw.
