MIM symbolises reactionary ashraf restorative politics and will eventually be instrumental in communal polarisation for the benefit of savarna formations, irrespective of religion, in the future elections. Its reminds one of the RSS-Muslim League communal jugalbandi of the 1940s. The dalits will be as disappointed with this formation as Jogendra Nath Mandal, dalit and first law minister of Pakistan, was with the Muslim League. So, 'bheem' will do well to read the upper caste content of 'meem': there is no anti-caste politics to be found here!
The pasmanda muslims contested the hegemonic casteist politics of Muslim League back then, they will contest MIM now. They will strive unceasingly in forging a horizontal solidarity of subordinated castes across religions by employing the slogan : 'Dalit-Pichda ek samaan, Hindu ho ya Musalman'. The 'sanghis' and 'musanghis' have to be buried politically if there is to be any scope for subaltern politics in India!...COPIED..
