LOW SNOW TODAY! 47°F 6:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Cloudy this morning as the biggest snow storm of the season ramps up offshore bringing heavy snow to Nevada City and Grass Valley. Up to 2 feet of NOTHING is expected on this April Fool's DAY! Gotcha! Sorry. I couldn't resist.
Today's weather will actually start out mostly cloudy, but then clear as High pressure dominates. Cooler today and tonight. Expect today's daytime highs in the mid 50s with overnight lows in the mid 30s.
Dry weather is expected through Friday look dry at this time as Low pressure exits to our east overnight. Temperatures will still be mostly below average for this date with mostly sunny skies. That all changes this weekend as another wet weather pattern arrives., bringing showers and Sierra snow. This wet weather pattern looks to peak by Monday as a strong cold front drops south along the coast and into NorCal.
Long range forecast models look to dry us out after the 2nd week of April as spring ramps up and warmer dry weather dominates.
