LOOKING MOSTLY DRY! 50°F 6:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. The forecast looks on track! Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies today as a Low departs to our east. Showers and t'storms are only expected this afternoon along the Sierra crest, bringing us only a slight chance of showers this evening. Today's temperatures may reach the upper 60s with overnight lows in the low 50s.
As mentioned before, as the current Low moves east another Low albeit weaker is expected to drop down the backside of the trough in place and bring the Sierra and the foothills another chance of showers Saturday night into Sunday. Dry and warmer weather is expected next week as High pressure struggles to boot this super resilient trough to our east. Hang in there summer is coming!
The long range forecast still looks to dry us out and warm up by early next week. A few showers may linger along the Sierra crest midweek, but overall a drying period is on the way.
