TODAY'S FORECAST

LIGHT RAIN POSSIBLE! 48°F 6:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Clouds are on the increase today as a weak system brings us a chance of light rain and Sierra snow showers above 6000ft. Today's temperatures will reach the low 50s with cool overnight lows in the low 40s.

A stronger spring storm arrives Friday and will bring us the possibility for significant rain through Saturday. 1-2" of rain looks possible in town, with Sierra snow above 6000ft. Expect travel delays and chain restrictions over the Summit this weekend. It looks at this time that we may see a break in the rain on Sunday, but a westerly flow will bring us another round of showers Monday through Tuesday afternoon as several weak impulses pass through our region. High pressure will then bring warmer and dry weather through at least Thursday.

The long range forecast still looks through the end of next week, but there may be a storm to our north which may bring us a chance of showers around the 13th or so. More on that soon. Have a totally awesome Thursday!
