@JustinTrudeau @Bill_Morneau – @CBCNews @CTVNews I implore the GC to not allow the airlines to take advantage of hard working Canadians. My family’s vacation was cancelled before the GC issued the level 4 travel advisory. @SunwingVacay agreed to a full refund, which I have in writing and on a recorded call. Because of this, my trip cancellation coverage was cancelled. Now Sunwing is refusing my refund which would have been paid out under the insurance had they not agreed to a full refund in the first place. I implore you and all MPs to stand up on behalf of Canadians so that they are able to recover the money which they desperately need during this unprecedented time. Please put pressure on the airline industry to do the right thing and refund the people that were promised refunds. Now is not the time to allow the airline industry to use our monies as tax free loans – not in such a time of uncertainty, not ever.
