JANUARY 2016..LAUNCH.......My Novel, "Backroom Diaries: A Consecration to the Lions of Gorakhpur," starts as a historical fiction, and then becomes a fast moving political thriller. Some portions of the book are semi-autobiographical, and capture author’s experiences in India and United States.
In this book, for the first time, the inconvenient truth about the caste system amongst Muslims of Asian subcontinent is brought to the surface. It is sad that contrary to the teachings of Islam, this practice is thriving among Muslims on similar lines as in Hindus. Although in Muslims, the ones in the lower strata are in majority, but they lack equality in social, political and economic considerations, and unfortunately they are looked down by others in contempt.
This book highlights the contribution of the lower strata in history, and wonders that if democracy is the game of numbers, then why these sections of the society can’t be the King or the Kingmaker? United States realizes their importance, and to have influence in this region is ready with a game plan. United States bets on the one, who is from this section of the society. Their planning is for the elections in India, in 2024.
