IF Dolores Huerta is telling the truth about #NVcaucus Bernie chanters, then no one can fault others for being offended and outraged. Every voter has the right to hear and be heard. Calling for an "English only" discussion is disgusting. It not only limits the rights of citizens who do not speak the language, excluding them from the political process America likes to boast about, in doing so it demeans the people.

I dislike the idea of a partial (to either candidate) translator. I hope that caucus-goers were pushing for a neutral translator, not pushing to exclude translation altogether.

I personally find it hard to believe people would chant "English only." I see Bernie Sanders as a candidate who wants to unite the people and bring equality; attempting to limit voting to solely English-speakers or restricting the ability to understand what is being said goes against everything I think his campaign stands for.

That being said, if it is true, then I would like to apologize on behalf of my fellow Bernie supporters. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior or attitude.

I hope that from now on all supporters of either candidate can be respectful and honest. Passion is not an excuse for malice; it is high time for passionate voters, it is past time for malicious attacks.
