I remember the arguments: It will be counterproductive, very dangerous to the society when teaching the history of civil war and other internal violent conflicts. Teachers' qualification must include Honesty, Psychology, Patroitism... which we hardly have, if at all. This is part of the reasons which lead to its suspension, and nothing has changed to now make it safer to re-introduce. Yes, there are distorted publications young minds are exposed to instead, but they would still be there even if official versions are (mis)taught in Schools. Qualified teachers should come first. Then the formidable challenge of agreeing to the truthful versions.
