That verdict might have been rendered without lawyers, merely with the introduction of Exhibit A, his life-size statue of Elvis Presley. Now another trial is planned. For what purpose? And then a third and fourth? America’s wish to put people in jail has become one of the most vicious aspects of a nation that is losing its way. Blagojevich is disgraced, broke, and ruined. Let the man alone, so we no longer have to look at his head-mulch.
